Up Coming Events and News!
July 29, 2008 I returned from my book tour in Louisiana
on July 16, 2008, It was great; I had a wonderful time and met many wonderful people! The book signings went well, the managers
in Walden Book Store and Book-A-Million will now carry my book and help promote it. I am thrilled!
I received
an email from Kellee Hennessy WAFB 9 news after returning home, after sending her email, thanking her and Scott,
she so kind to reply in return. (Read below)
You are so kind! Thanks for the inspirational email. Your book was wonderful and it was a delight
to finally meet you in person.
We
did get some great emails here at the station as well. So, I am so glad you had such an impressive turnout at your signing!

The fundraiser held using
my book for the children's bus ministry in Ball, Louisiana at the Church of Pentecost went great! Two other close people
in my life joined me and one donated $100 dollars to this wonderful cause and the other one $500.00, besides the proceeds
we raised from the sell of my books.
I thank these two special people from the bottom of my heart for their wonderful
kindness, assisting to help with this great cause to have a wonderful outcome!

a scheduled book signing at Walden Book Store in Alexandria, La/ July 1, 2008 between 2-4 PM to follow an appearance on the Midday Show on Kalb Channel
5 in Alexandria, La./ June 30, awarded by the producer, Breanna.
Also a scheduled book
signing in Book-A-Million In Alexandria La. on July 5, 2008 Update books not arrived in time for signing,
so the manager informed me she will carry my book as a native author. Wonderful news!
I have another scheduled book
signing at Walden Book Store / July 12, between 2- 4 PM located at 9663 Cortana PL Baton Rouge, La.

the First Pentecost Church for the Bus ministry for the children!
May 24, 2008- The book signing in Blythewood, S.C. in the Cafe' Vienna
went wonderfully, I met many wonderful people and also enjoyed the fine food and specialty desserts. My 6-year-old daughter,
Talia was my surprise guest; she did readings for the children. 5/17/08 I have been invited back to do another book signing at Walden Book Store in the Columbiana
Mall in Columbia, S.C. between 2- 5:30 p.m. 4/18/2008
at 10 a. m. -I been invited By Ms. Riser a Reading Interventionist of Dutch Fork Elementary School to come share my
children's poetry with Ms. Riser's 3rd and 5th grade classes!

Today, I was interviewed by a reporter, Kelley Hunsicker from the Irmo Newspaper. We discussed the upcoming
"Fun Fest" at River Springs Elementary School on April 25, 2008 between 5-8 p.m. Donation of proceeds to
